The event brought together over 1.000 people at the Palma de Mallorca Conference Centre from the sales team, the corporate area and the management of the SANTALUCÍA Group.
ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño designed, produced and supported the organisation and logistics of the event, with the slogan “The Strength of our Group”.
Santalucía, the leading insurance company for family policies, commissioned ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño (APD) for the fourth consecutive year to design, produce and support the organisation and logistics of its Annual Sales Convention.
The event took place on 22 February at the Palma de Mallorca Conference Centre, bringing together over 1.000 people from the sales team, the corporate area and the management of the SANTALUCÍA Group.
During the convention, the company reviewed the sales targets and results achieved in 2018, and analysed the main challenges and objectives for the year ahead. Those attending also enjoyed a motivational speech by renowned journalist and television presenter Antonio Lobato. At the end of the convention, the sales awards were presented in various categories.
A dinner was subsequently held at the emblematic “Pueblo Español” museum site, in the city of Palma de Mallorca. The evening was rounded off with enjoyable entertainment from comedian and actor Carlos Latre.
The tree as a symbol of the Group’s strength and key to the corporate identity of the event
APD was also responsible for creating the setting and the graphical identity of the event, including the logo and the claim that featured on the different supports (the stage, credentials, visitor reception counters, etc.), which were used to reinforce Santalucía’s values and the various messages of the convention.
To create this identity, APD used the conceptual image of a tree to signify a living organism that is constantly growing and evolving. The different companies of the Group are represented by the branches of the tree, which attached to a common tree trunk, provide unity and strength to the Santalucía Group.
APD also designed and produced all of the audiovisual pieces and the speakers’ presentations, supporting the different content communicated at the event.
Carbon neutral event
ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño is committed to sustainability in all of its activities and the Convention will be a carbon neutral event. The CO2 emissions associated with the event will be calculated and offset by the OAXACAS clean energy project in Mexico, ensuring that the final emissions balance is equal to zero. In addition to its significant environmental contribution (the project prevents the emission of between 230,000 and 250,000 tonnes of CO2every year), the OAXACAS project also involves numerous social initiatives that benefit the local community (most of whom are indigenous Zapotec people), such as reforestation work, the promotion of artisan production, education programs and professional training, improvement to local infrastructures and the promotion of self-employment initiatives.
